This is install guide for the complete hotend assembly from Creality for Creality K1 Series 3D Printer.

- 1. Remove Filament an Power Down the Machine
- 2. Remove AI Lidarr (For K1 Max)
- 3. Remove The Hotend Nozzle Cover
- 4. Remove the toolhead PCB Board
- 5. Remove connector from the break out board.
- 6. Remove Hotend
- 7. Remove existing PTFE (For earlier 2023 hotend)
- 8. Install New Hotend Complete Assembly
- 9. Re-Connect the Hotend Connections
- 10. Add fan spacer if you're previous version is 2023 hotend or using 2023 hotend fan.
- 11. Re-Install toolhead Board.
- 12. Reconnect the extruder wire.
- 13. Re-Install Hotend Cover and or Ai Lidarr for applicable models.
- 14. Plug power in back and re-run calibration.

1. Remove Filament an Power Down the Machine
2. Remove AI Lidarr (For K1 Max)
Unplug the and remove the unit.


3. Remove The Hotend Nozzle Cover



4. Remove the toolhead PCB Board

5. Remove connector from the break out board.
Note: If there some hot glue, you can dab some iso alcohol onto hot glue to loosen the glue for easier connection removal.
The Hotend, Heater, Thermistor an Extruder Motor

6. Remove Hotend
There is 4 fastener to secure the heat sink onto carriage, please remove the 2 front and 2 side M3 fastener.



7. Remove existing PTFE (For earlier 2023 hotend)
Remove the PTFE and extruder to hotend, and re-install extruder.


8. Install New Hotend Complete Assembly
Install 2 front and 2 side fasteners that was removed in step 6.



9. Re-Connect the Hotend Connections

10. Add fan spacer if you're previous version is 2023 hotend or using 2023 hotend fan.

11. Re-Install toolhead Board.
Re-Install the 3 fasteners

12. Reconnect the extruder wire.

13. Re-Install Hotend Cover and or Ai Lidarr for applicable models.

14. Plug power in back and re-run calibration.
