Understanding how Creality spares are packaged by SKU

This is short guide to understand the varying sku and how spare are packaged.

Why?

At the beginning of 2022, Creality discontinued the provision of spare parts pre-packaged at the factory for most SKUs. This change should not affect the price of most spare parts, as the lower unit cost is balanced by local labor costs for repackaging before orders are dispatched. This approach will reduce plastic waste for large quantity orders, as packaging will now use less plastic.

Our goal is to minimise plastic usage in packaging. The clear packaging we use is either reused from our vendors or made from approximately 40% recycled materials. However, we cannot eliminate the use of clear packaging for smaller parts, as it helps prevent them from loosening during transit.

This policy applies unless specified in the product listing. (Some SKUs are still transitioning to the new packaging format, and where Creality previously used excessive packaging—such as individually packed nozzles—we have repackaged them into kits of five, saving remaining packaging for other SKUs.)
