General information on the hot tightening process: As the hotend is a clone or copy of the V6/Volcano design, the process remains the same. For the stock hotend, 1.5–2 Nm of torque is sufficient for a brass nozzle. For other nozzle types, please refer to the manufacturer's specifications for guidance.

Tips: If you have issue removing hot glue on connector, you can dab some ISO alcohol on the hot glue to loosen it. Ensure you machine is off and use 99% ISO alcohol and ensure any excessive iso has evaporated before turning the machine back on.

Note: Ensure you keep the hotend block secure with a suitable adjustable wrench to prevent the heat break from coming loose during hot tightening. If the heat break does come loose, you will need to re-tighten the two grub screws. The best practice when installing the hotend is to ensure you have access to these grub screws, avoiding the need to remove the hotend for re-securing.
