Guide to Functional Printing

Part Cooling:

When printing for functional parts it’s best to print for strength it’s best to go hotter and low to no part cooling fans.


To maximise DREMC PC/ABS or ASA/ABS or ASA CF / PETG CF strength; fan is turned off and/or print at 265°c+
Recommended extrusion temp: 260-280°c (PC/ABS)

Recommended extrusion temp: 260-280°c (ASA/ABS)

Recommended extrusion temp: 275-300°c (ASA CF)

Recommended extrusion temp: 235-260°c (PETG CF)
Maximum recommended extrusion temp @ 12mm/s³: ~300°c

For all materials print in well ventilated room, best for enclosed printer for air filter ducted outside or run Nevermore to reduce the VOC.
